The Ten Commandments are the bedrock of Biblical ethics for both, the Old Testament as well as the New. In this course we endeavor to find the original meaning of the Ten Commandments, critically discuss various interpretations. But most important: We marvel at the grace and truth (John 1:17) of the One who came to fulfill the Law – Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:17). He is the One and Only who can create the new heart in us (Psalm 51:10), the heart that is able and willing to live according to God’s will.
